Well, what i'm trying to say here is that,
i was touched by one of his post in facebook.
Islam is the right way of life,
yet, not all can see the beauty.
As for women, we wear hijab to cover our aurat --> hair.
for me, a hijab has its own beauty,
the beauty of modesty.
so, here is the article. Enjoy it :)
AIMAN AZLAN:
My friend works as a sales person at a mall somewhere in Canada. One of my friend's coworkers is a non-Muslim male.
He said to my friend one day, "Whenever I see a Muslim woman passing by, I don't look at her."
My friend asked him, "Why?"
To that, he replied, "She's covered. There is nothing for me to see."
I was moved when I heared this story from my friend. I was moved by the fact that Allah has protected the Muslim women from that man's eyes. I was also moved by the man's honesty.
Now, having said that, I am not implying that women who don't cover deserved to be feast on by the eyes of men. One wrong act doesn't justify another.
When it comes to modesty, Be balanced. Don't just focus on the women. Allah commands modesty on both genders.
Lets not point fingers. Lets start with ourselves.
